Smith-Kingsmore Syndrome Awareness Day

SKS Awareness Day - August 15

Smith-Kingsmore Syndrome Awareness Day reminds us our mission is CLEAR, our cause is JUST, and our fight is URGENT. Friends and families join in a day to remember our blessings and bring attention to our struggles.

2023 Smith-Kingsmore Syndrome Awareness Day

Sunniest Day of Hope

SKS Foundation is celebrating our 4th Global SKS Awareness Day on August 15!

Join our fundraising match this August, thanks to one of our SKS families who has generously offered our community the LARGEST matching gift in our 4-year history!

Throughout the month of August, if we can raise $30,000 together, SKS Foundation will receive an ADDITIONAL $30,000 match from the family, raising a total of $60,000 we can use to advance science!

How can you get involved and participate in SKS Awareness Day?

Mark your calendar for August 15th when our community will wear our SKS gear (available at the SKS Store) and share our stories so that our tiny community’s mighty voices can be heard around the world!

2022 Smith-Kingsmore Syndrome Awareness Day

Thanks to you, Smith-Kingsmore Syndrome Foundation has been able to accelerate research and provide a better understanding of Smith-Kingsmore syndrome. Your support and belief in our cause keeps us going strong.

Join us as we raise SKS Awareness on the Sunniest Day of Hope!

If you want to bring action (and sweat!) to your fundraising game, participate in the SKS WOD, Jack Walk, or (new!) Zumba virtual event to feel good while making a difference.

And you can help fund a third year of a full-time postdoc researcher at the University of Florida, supporting ongoing Smith-Kingsmore syndrome research. Help create a sunny world of hope!

Together we can change the world!
